We chatted with Fraser, founder of EH Retro Kits about his passion for football and incorporating it into everyday style.

J- What do you love about retro football kits?

F- Definitely the fashion. I’ve always collected Aberdeen shirts from the early 80s - now and have enjoyed wearing something different, rarer and generally better quality than the modern stuff.

J- What do you love about football attire being incorporated into fashion?

F- I think it brings more people to the market and that’s cool. I do enjoy the fashion aspect of it too such as all the old Italian brands and you see more and more collabs from football clubs with brands such as palace, Jordan, Armani, Louis Vuitton and others.

J- Have you always been a football enthusiast?

F- Yeah, I have always enjoyed watching Scottish football and generally any football it doesn’t matter the level or who’s playing. I played at a fairly high level myself before deciding to give it up to move away for university.

J- What gave you the idea for EH Retro Kits?

F- When I got my first graduate job out of university I just wanted more money to buy my own flag rather than rent and I had a vast knowledge of football shirts. Covid then hit so I set uk shop in March 2020 as I had more time. The name EH just comes from the Edinburgh post code (EHXX XXX)

Football attire has recently infiltrated the fashion world, becoming trendy for men and women, incorporating the more masculine looking style of tees with classically feminine silhouettes and paired with skirts, shorts, you name it!
