Hi ! I'm jess, a journalist, fashion enthusiast, and creator of CLOBBER. I wanted to make a platform including a styling guide that focused on sustainability, inclusivity and ethical practices as the fashion world continues to evolve to be better for consumers, designers and the climate all together. My aim is to share the importance of sustainable clothing and accessories but most importantly the benefits they provide not only for the climate but also your style!
our mission
Fashion isn’t just for the upper class. Everyone should have the opportunity to feel the confidence that their own ‘clobber’ can provide. Style comes with personal flair rather than an expensive price tag. We want to help people find their own sense of style while also encouraging a climate conscious style of clothes shopping. Additionally we want to support sustainable brands and vintage/second-hand stores further their audience with social media posts and interviews.
We believe in equal opportunities too, spotlighting small businesses and minority-owned businesses as we believe in diversity and inclusivity.
our vision
We see CLOBBER as the future of fashion and styling guides. More than just lookbooks, we are actively showcasing the best second-hand and sustainable shops, and interacting with our audience answering any and every styling problem. We eventually want to expand to a magazine within the next couple of years informing more and more people about ethical fashion.
